Summon being waived!! Yeah..
Received an email from the HDB today to inform me that my summon of $50 is being waived. This is my first summon received, due to parking overnight at a carpark which only allows cars with season parking to do so. Luckily shan thought me how to go about appealing, if not i will need to fork out the money from my pathetic bank acc to pay for it.. so heartpain. Think i'll be extra careful in the future.
Met my aunty yesterday and she was telling me that she was being issued summons almost everyday for the last week. She told me one encounter which i find it quite funny and unbelievable.. one afternoon, she drove on the bus lane during the closure of bus lane. Then suddenly she saw someone hiding under the overhead bridge taking photos of her act. And so, i think there will be a summon which is along the way to her letterbox.
My aunt commented that recently the government has been quite stringent with regards to parking regulations. Her reasoning is that they are trying to get back the money that was distributed to the public in the form of progress package. But well, i must say that those drivers do are at fault most of the time themselves.. Haha.. shant talk more here.. *sensitive topic.. haha..
