Chinese New Year!!!!
Happy New Year to all!! =)
Not in a festive mood at all, cos need to work on the past few weekends, then no time to do my new year shopping. Super sianz.. But what to do.. Still have to bear with it for at least 1 more year or so.
New Year Eve
As usual, went to grandfather house for reunion dinner and we had steamboat, my fav. We had some special guests. 5 air stewardess in the making, 3 Indians, 1 Indonesian and 1 Malaysian. They are my cousin SIA's coursemates, so he politely invited them to join us for dinner. Haha.. my cousins, dad and aunty did their part in introducing them to our Chinese culture and traditions.
First day
Typical chinese family.. All dressed in shades of red.. home filled with red decorations.
First stop was to Grandfather's house, then to grandma's house. Had a photo taking session with my cute fav cousin.
Isnt he adorable?? Haven seen him for quite a long time le. Now the way he talks also quite cute and innocent. haha..
Went over to grandfather's house for dinner and mahjong session. I can't believe my luck for that night. I was the big winner. Initially we all had 40 chips each, then end up me having more than 100 chips. But we din play real money, so no point happy that i wont. haha..
Second DayWhen i was a kid, i used to love the second day of new year. Reason being that we will visit a lot of houses, and collect lots of angbows. But now, it isn't as fun as it used to be. More relatives chose to go overseas to "avoid new year", granduncle passed away a few months ago, so the family are not really keen to celebrate the new year.
But still we went visiting a few granduncles and grandaunt house. So we just sat there to eat, talk, eat and talk. Quite boring actually.
Last stop for the day was at my 6th granduncle's house. Every year they will cater buffet and invite all of us there.
Think all the adults looked forward to going there, cos they will play blackjack. But for the kids, we played some boliao games like heart attack, poker and mahjong. Still, i spent most of my time eating, eating and eating.
Haiz.. holiday always passed so fast.. soon i'll be back to the dreadful work.

Working life = No life
haha.. the title has been my msn nick for the past few weeks.
Super no life at all. I'm either working or sleeping, dun even have the time to watch my TV programs. No time and energy to do my new year shopping. But anyway, i still managed to get 2 tops.
Cutie's Last Day of Attachment
Last fri was the last day of our vacation trainee, an SMU undergraduate in the making. Really enjoyed working with "cutie" for the past few mths. Weird nickname right?? Thanks to jen who gave him such a nice nice nick. Really fun seeing him being bullied by jen and jac. Haha..
Went for a farewell lunch with him at bugis on thurs. Ate at a japanese restaurant, Ma Maison (not too sure abt the spelling though). The experience of dining in there wasnt exceptionally good. There wasn't much variety to choose from, the waitress made a blunder causing a majority of us ordering the wrong food and the food quality is just average.
Cutie Boon is the guy sitting on the right hand corner. He is cute, isn't he. Though he is one year older than me, i treated him as though he is younger than me. He is also very sweet, bought us 3 packs of Royce chocolates. We are not bad either, gave him a treat and a farewell card. Haha.. doesnt he look happy and glad that it was his last day, leaving the terrible job??
ZP n Shan's Birthday Celebration
Had a short break on fri night, met up with my jc friends for 2 birthday celebration. Luckily managed to go off early if will kanna scolding by them.

Hang out at coffee bean, we super not paiseh, sat there for ard 2 hrs without buying anything from there. Haha..
Did a lot of catching up, shared my lame jokes and complained a lot abt my work. Really feel good chatting with all of them.
Miss our jc days where we can go shopping in the afternoon after our classes. Haiz.. Those were the days...
